Orientation System#
Orientation is an explainable starting position across four contribution directions. It is neither personality testing nor permanent class assignment.
| Direction | Role | Signal | Immediate right |
|---|---|---|---|
| north · yellow rose | Catalyst | resources | May propose and initiate a Level 1 Project after the Pitch receipt is confirmed. |
| east · white rose | Creator | possibility | May join an open Project or answer a scoped invitation and create concept Contributions. |
| south · red rose | Builder | execution | May join a Project and accept a bounded WorkItem with visible constraints and acceptance criteria. |
| west · blue rose | Organizer | alignment | May join a Project and propose roles, agreements, participation, and decision processes. |
Evidence and scoring#
Evidence comes from Source statements, examples, chosen tradeoffs, questions asked, placed Artifacts, self-assessment, and corrections. Each item has source, timestamp, role weights, confidence, and contradictory evidence. Normalized values range 0–100. Actor inference is advisory; Source self-assessment has full weight. A primary direction requires an eight-point lead and confidence ≥0.62. Otherwise the output is a blended pair.
Confidence is a range over evidence weights with contradiction penalties, not fake decimal precision. The interface reveals why each petal illuminated and lets the player remove an incorrect inference without deleting the historical Record.
Disagreement and change#
The player may select any starting quest after reviewing the system’s evidence. Disagreement is recorded as authored perspective, not treated as an error. Reassessment is available after an accepted Contribution or on request. A changed Orientation affects future recommendations and permissions prospectively; it does not rewrite prior contributions or remove already earned access.
