# Avatar Coherence

An Avatar represents a Source in a Realm. Its Coherence profile means “how I want to show up here,” not “who I am.”

## Uses

- draft messages in the Source's selected style;
- represent chosen formality, directness, curiosity, listening, or confrontation posture;
- prepare for meetings and Activities;
- surface optional feedback about a generated representation;
- support mediation under participant Consent;
- apply context-specific aspirations with explicit expiry.

## Agency boundary

The Avatar may shape generated representation and assistance. It MUST NOT manipulate the Source, suppress information to make the Source conform, make commitments without Authority, infer an immutable personality, diagnose, or export a profile as a universal human attribute.

Feedback is optional unless a hard boundary governs the Avatar's own generated Action. The Source can inspect evidence, correct a reading, change targets, decline a recommendation, reset observations, or disable inference. The system distinguishes a Source's direct statement from model inference.

Other Realms cannot import an Avatar profile or observations by default. A Source may deliberately carry selected desired settings—not inferred readings—with audience, purpose, and expiry.
