Research, governance and treasury integration

Authority and precedence

Research supplies evidence and hypotheses. A policy draft proposes rules. A proposal specifies an exact effect. An adopted decision may create a mandate. An Actor executes only within that mandate and service permissions, then records an execution receipt. None of those transitions is implied by publishing a web page or library.

The bundled Governance Kit 1.0.0 contains 14 proposal types, 12 policy families, 13 record contracts, templates, state transitions, two skills and 42 DUNA bindings. Those bindings retain unknown adoption fields. Its source reconciliation and offline tests remain intact. Lunchbreakers founding policy v0.1 is a separate proposed DUNA-specific library, not a silent replacement for ecosystem governance or a claim of legal adoption.

Conflicts to resolve before live activation

Topic Sources Required treatment
Voting calendar Lunchbreakers draft: 10–14 and 24–28; Governance historical source: 7/21 publication and other windows; call: every other week Store per-DUNA adopted calendar, timezone, cutoffs and challenge periods. Do not synthesize one universal schedule.
Decision thresholds Lunchbreakers proposed routine/significant/foundational rules; generic library leaves adoption open Bind electorate and rules to a pinned adopted version for the exact DUNA/effect.
Compensation Call requests periodic voted contribution distributions; older examples contain per-Activity USDC rewards New work makes no automatic payout promise. Preserve already accepted obligations and explicitly approve any migration.
Units Treasury asks for USD reporting and KI holdings; prior contracts use USDC for offered compensation Keep asset identity, unit, custody account and conversion provenance explicit. USD reporting does not silently turn USDC into bank cash. KI is compute.
Ally taxonomy Older library differs from October 26 call Apply the current scoped target in the architecture amendment; migrate role mappings explicitly, not by changing historical decisions.

Treasury fixture and production reporting

The prototype is a single simulated Lunchbreakers ledger, not a consolidation of separate chapters. Opening April 2025 balances: USD 85,000 and KI 120,000. Closing September 2026 balances: USD 234,000 and KI 269,550. Each month satisfies opening + inflows − outflows = closing, independently for each asset. The next month opens at the prior close.

USD inflows: institutional meals; household meals; catering/events; meal-access grants/donations. USD outflows: farmers/ingredients; people/payroll; kitchens/operations; delivery/packaging; community meal grants; equipment/tools. KI inflows: network allocations and member contributions. KI use: menus/sourcing, scheduling/logistics and governance/reporting.

Reserve transfers reclassify cash, not income or expense. Restricted meal-access funds roll forward with designated grants less meal-access spending. Equipment purchases mean this cash-flow report is not a profit-and-loss statement. “Distributions” describes mission-related cash outflows, not shareholder dividends. No actual account or statement was supplied.

Production records need organization and account IDs, asset/currency, amount in exact minor units or decimal form, effective and posted timestamps, source transaction/statement ID, category, restriction, proposal/mandate reference when applicable, counterparty privacy and reconciliation status. Reports must identify their period, as-of time, source coverage, opening/closing balance and limitations. A pending transfer is not a settled outflow; a forecast is not actual income. Redact private counterparties in public views.

Governance service integration

Resolve the bundled service contract, proposal catalog, schema and state transitions. Before publishing an executable proposal, require exact effect payload, current rule and policy versions, evidence, conflicts, responsible parties and impact assessment. Voting snapshots the electorate and revision. Settlement produces a deterministic decision receipt. Execution validates the mandate, remaining budget, asset restrictions, signers and idempotency key. Record partial execution, failure, retry and revocation explicitly.

Contribution completion can feed a distribution proposal; it cannot itself authorize a payment. Governance-library availability, a proposed policy, a passing offline validation result, and team-reported voting QA are four different evidence levels.

Skills and ownership

Reuse the Governance kit’s governance-maintenance and proposal-design skills. Connect DUNA Scout skills for purpose explanation, work-fit assessment, drafting, collaborator matching, wisdom stewardship and distribution preparation. Runtime loads must pin versions and enforce consent/ACLs independently of prompt text. The exact current Ki prompt and production routing configuration remain required inputs.

Research and source preservation

The Research tab links related sources beside all eight topics, a browsable 45-reference bibliography, the complete cited report, and two Markdown downloads. The source library preserves both original attachments and both newer linked documents byte-for-byte. Source links are reconstructed/closely matched as described by the supplied concordance; the earlier Library study (reference 24) has been recovered from the Lunchbreakers kit and included. See complete source documents.
