## The game in one minute

Royals & Rogues begins with No-Limit Texas Hold'em, then changes what a hand can become. Two to four players bring a personal Power Deck shaped by a Class and a Court. Powers may prepare the hand, alter a betting round, answer another Power, or change the result just before cards are revealed. Items enter the poker deck. Tokens persist across hands. Heating Up unlocks Fire effects; Tilted changes which Powers remain available.

The objective is simple: **win all coins on the table**.

## Four ways to shape a Power Deck

- **Merchant** — resources, Items, patient setup, and conversion of accumulated advantage.
- **Noble** — table politics, protection, steady value, and control.
- **Rogue** — pressure, misdirection, opportunism, and dangerous reversals.
- **Warrior** — direct action, aggression, challenges, and decisive hands.

Each Class combines with one Court: **King** (wealth), **Queen** (intellect), **Jack** (skill), or **Joker** (craftiness).
